North Carolina has 17 major river basins there’s the cape Fear, Yadkin-PeeDee, Neuse, Tar-Pamlico, Pasquotank, Roanoke, Lumber, Catawba, French Broad, Little Tennessee, Broad, Chowan, White oak, New, Hiwassee, Watauga, Savannah, Amazon, and the Mississippi water sheds but only about 4 or 5 actually in North Carolina that don’t touch another state.
